The team at BeeCastle are looking for an outstanding and motivated product person that will help us on our mission to change how businesses manage their relationships.


Founded less than a year ago, BeeCastle is a pre-launch funded SaaS start-up that focuses on measuring and improving the most critical thing for many high value B2B businesses – your relationship with your clients.


To do so we use large scale data ingestion & proprietary algorithms to allow all team members to see the health of your relationship with a company and your connection with the individuals within that company. We then use that information to intelligently advise the team on what relationship building activities will bring the biggest bang for their buck.

What we’re looking for

  • Self-starter with a keen analytical eye – much of your work will require the ability to think through tricky problems and communicate your thinking to the rest of the team
  • Confidence in liaising with customers and external partners – our earliest customers are our most precious resource so the person will need to be comfortable helping learn from and manage those relationships.
  • Keen interest in technology, in particular the SaaS market
  • Ability to learn quickly and comfortable with ambiguity - as an early stage start-up there is no guide book or established processes so you must be comfortable working out things together with us as you go
  • Good team mate that’s comfortable to work remotely - we’re a no drama team looking to work with great people. Some team members are based in Melbourne but our team is spread across Australia as a mixed remote team.


This isn’t one of those internships where we expect you to already have the CV of a 20 year product professional but there are bonus points if…

  • You have worked in software development in a product or engineering capacity
  • You have experience in customer service, particularly in the B2B space


Your typical day may include

  • Developing product features – from mapping customer experiences to working with the designer, to writing stories for technical build
  • Supporting our early customers as they use our product and using that knowledge to inform the product roadmap
  • Research and analysis, which includes competitor analysis, industry best practice, customer number crunching

The team

David Wood – Founder

David is an senior investment banker and technology founder for whom BeeCastle was a solution to a personal problem - managing large, complex relationships across a large team. Unsatisfied by what existed, David came up with the idea and brought together a team to solve the problem.


Hamish Rickerby – CTO

Hamish is the CTO for BeeCastle and has significant experience in telecommunications and mobile systems. He was previously the Director of Technology and Simple Machines, a software development consultancy in Sydney. There he helped develop complex applications for local and international business of all sizes, from start ups to large corporations


Tom Hilton – Product

Tom leads the product team for BeeCastle, spending his days identifying and defining the features that will make BeeCastle a meaningful tool for customers. Before joining BeeCastle, Tom led the development of elegant, large scale digital products at Tyro, Telstra Digital and Belong, along with consulting independently to a variety of Australian tech companies.
